Lexicon Help
Lexicon is a study app for the vocabulary of the SAT Reading & Writing section: flashcards and tests spaced by how well you know each word, practice questions in the test’s own format, and meanings in your own language.
Questions, a wrong meaning, an idea for the app: write to lexicon.yaso@gmail.com. Every message is read and answered.
Signing in
Type your email address on the first screen and tap “Send me a sign-in email”. An email from Lexicon arrives with a 6-digit code; type the code in the app. There is no password to remember. A code works once, for one hour.
The email did not arrive
- Look in Spam, and in Gmail’s Promotions tab.
- Wait a minute before asking for another email; asking again sooner is refused.
- Still nothing after a few minutes: write to us from the address you used, and we will help.
A new phone
Sign in with the same email address. Your progress, words and settings come back.
Deleting your account
In the app: Settings → Account → “Delete my account and data”, then tap again to confirm. Your account and all of your progress are deleted from our database at once. What is on the phone stays until you use “Clear my progress” or delete the app.
No app at hand? Email lexicon.yaso@gmail.com from the address you sign in with and write “Delete my account”. Your account and all of your progress are deleted within 7 days, and you get a reply when it’s done.
Languages
English definitions always show. In Settings you can add short meanings in Turkish, Chinese (Simplified or Traditional), Korean, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, Vietnamese, Arabic, Russian or Hindi.
